The Education Committee has been presenting a once-a-month series exploring the relevance of the Parables in everyday life. Dividing the Parables into like-minded topic areas (such as those nature-related and those featuring weddings and feasts, held in November and December respectively), seminar participants have selected one Parable amidst the many to focus on at each session.

After discussions about their choices, they have then used the New York Times and the New York Post from the past month to see if they can find any modern day parallels for their Parables. Creating collages out of headlines, stories, and pictures, each seminar participant then presents his/her ideas to the entire group to discuss and ponder.
