Mission & Outreach

Mission and Outreach (M&O) has grown in activity and initiatives, as the Congregation continues to expand. They include:


Carpenter's Kids - a 5-year cycle of pledging commitment in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of New York and Diocese of Central Tanganyika in Tanzania, to support the education and living costs of children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa.

 

Cathedral Community Cares (CCC) - the Cathedral's community outreach center, which offers a weekly Soup Kitchen, health screening fairs, clothing drives and holiday meals for the needy in the local community.

Habitat for Humanity - "Urban Homesteading" empowers the working poor by helping them to reclaim and rebuild abandoned properties for their own low-income housing, with on-site assistance.
